Huntsville Music Month is preparing to blast off with the annual, free LAUNCHPAD concert series on Sept. 5-7 in Big Spring Park West.

Saturday, Sept. 6, 6-9:30 p.m.

  The event is free to attend, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food trucks and local vendors will be on-site throughout the weekend.

  Huntsville Music Month is an initiative by the City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Music Office to spotlight the city’s creative economy and amplify opportunities for musicians, venues, music businesses and fans to connect.

  “Music is a part of what makes Huntsville not just a smart place, but a soulful one,” said Mayor Tommy Battle. “LAUNCHPAD reflects our commitment to building a vibrant, welcoming music ecosystem that supports local artists and brings our community together.”

  LAUNCHPAD is produced by the Huntsville Music Office with support from Huntsville Parks and Recreation, the City’s Office of Multicultural Affairs and Downtown Huntsville, Inc.
